ACUPRESSURE V/S ACUPUNCTURE
So it is little difficult to say the exact origin of Acupressure v/s Acupuncture. But at present day, no doubt the credit goes to Chinese people to spread knowledge about it in whole world. In China, Acupressure is highly recommend from Ancient times.
Dr. Chu lian in his Authentic book Chen- chiu-sueh mentioned 669 Acupressure points. Whereas some other charts also mention 1000 Acupressure points. But in daily life, only 100-120 points are considered important.
MEANING OF ACUPRESSURE v/s ACUPUNCTURE
Acupressure V/S Acupuncture v/s Acupuncture is derived from latin word Acus ,means Needle Or pressure.
Accu - means point and pressure means press. Means press the point where the pain occurs. In 6th century the Acupressure spread to Japan by the Buddhists. In Japan it is called "Shiatsu".
Shi means finger, and Atsu means press/ pressure. In this technique Thumb pressure and finger pressure are exerted on the pain area. From a scientific point of view, it is proven that by pressing the outer surface of the skin at a particular place the internal organs are affected.
Example:- Massage is given to the body from ancient times. In this process, every point of our body is pressed by applying pressure . Massage was mandatory for our infants and babies. It was the best way to give Acupressure v/s Acupuncture to the body and activate the blood supply in the organs.
Example- legs, Hands, back, face etc. Therefore Acupressure V/S Acupuncture is based on the pressed body massage.

What is the Reflex centre?
The place where Acupressure is given is known as Reflex centre. Reflex centre acts like the switch board of our internal organs. We can understand it from another example. When we see ourselves in the mirror, we can do saving, or makeup. In the same way the Reflex centre is the Reflection of our internal organs .
Examples of Reflex centres are:- Leg sole, palm, face , temple , back etc. It is also known as Reflexology. The Reflex centre is the size of a pea( matar k daane k barabar).

WHAT IS ACUPUNCTURE?
Acupressure and Acupuncture both are Chinese techniques. In Acupuncture needles are used, but in Acupressure thumbs ,fingers and other equipment are used. In Acupuncture some special types of needles are used made up of silver and Gold .
BENEFITS OF ACUPRESSURE
1 . We can get relief from pain in our body. Except - waist pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, Elbow pain and Headache.
2 . It can give calmness, peace from anger, Depression, Hate etc. Example - EEG (Electroencephalogram).

3 . No benefits in cancer, bone fracture, schizophrenia and other mental disorders.
4 . No benefits in the surgical process and intestinal obstructions.
